Mesa is glad to honor you with this reception.

You have a tough, [Handwritten addition: very] important job. Our community’s future is in your hands. . .you must educate our children well and all of us should do our part to help.

For this reason, I’m happy to announce that Mesa will donate $34,490. We are suggesting it be used for athletic, band and orchestra letter jackets cut from this year’s budget.

Because we also support the Magnet School, we are pleased to donate $9,000 for the start up of the Magnet School Library.

I hope the [Handwritten addition: additional] equipment and supplies we donated last month will make your jobs easier.

We at Mesa believe in what you are doing and support you enthusiastically.
